Devin Dean Wahlen, DPM
Dr. Devin Dean Wahlen, is an experienced and compassionate podiatrist at Eastern New Mexico Foot and Ankle, located in Clovis, NM. He started out of training employed by Plains Regional Medical Center in 2014 before opening his private practice in 2017. Dr. Wahlen is known for his superb surgical skills and dedicated patient care. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery, addressing a wide range of conditions. Dr. Wahlen is affiliated with Plains Regional Medical Center and is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Wahlen attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for his undergraduate studies in 2006 before completing his medical degree at William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2010. He completed his residency in 2013 at Oakwood Healthcare in Detroit, Michigan, and a fellowship in Advanced Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at the New Mexico Bone and Joint Institute in 2014. Dr. Wahlen has served in various compacities at Plains Regional Medical Center including President of Medical Staff, member of the Hospital Board and the Department Chair of Surgery.
Outside of his professional achievements, Dr. Wahlen is an avid runner, having completed the Chicago Marathon in 2009, the Ann Arbor Half Marathon in 2013, and the Mesa Arizona Half Marathon 2020. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, especially hiking. Dr. Wahlen grew up on a family farm in Idaho and loves the communities of Eastern New Mexico and West Texas because it reminds him of his hometown. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
