Thank you for choosing Eastern New Mexico Foot & Ankle, the private practice of Dr. Devin Wahlen. We created this page in an effort to help our new patients become familiar with our office policies. Should you have a question that is not answered on this page, we encourage you to call us at any time. We’ll be happy to help you in any way that we can. We look forward to seeing you in the office soon.
We schedule patients by appointment. If you have an urgent need to be seen by the doctor quickly, please call our office and we’ll do our best to work you into our schedule the same day.
If you should need to cancel an appointment with us, we ask that you please contact our office within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment so that we may offer your appointment time to another patient in need.
As a new patient, there will be some information that we’ll need to gather about you to create your medical record with us. You may register in one of two ways: 1) Use our secure, online patient portal. This is the quickest and most convenient way to register for our patients or 2) Download the patient registration form, complete the form, sign and bring in to your visit with us.
When you arrive for your first appointment with us, please be sure to bring your insurance card(s), if applicable, and a government issued photo ID. Please also be prepared to provide us with a listing of any medications you are currently taking, including any over-the-counter medications or supplements.
Insurance / Financial
We accept most major health insurance plans. When you call to schedule your appointment with us, we will confirm our participation with your plan at that time.
Please be prepared to pay any co-payments, deductibles or non-covered services at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we gladly accept checks, credit and debit cards.
When you find that you are in need of a refill on your prescription, please contact our office with your pharmacy’s name and phone number and the medication you need refilled.
Please allow 1-2 business days for us to process your request. If the doctor requires you to be seen prior to refilling your prescription, we will contact you to schedule and appointment. As a general rule, we do not refill prescriptions after hours or on weekends.
